Wow Fantastic Thai Food in the restaurant at the back of the pub-the garden area. So delicious-we highly recommend it! We had pad Thai and one of the stir fry entrees both were delicious! Only here in London for a short time but we plan on coming back!

A family member recommended this pub as a picturesque spot while visiting Notting Hill/Kensington, and I'm so glad I went. From the Notting Hill Gate tub stop, it's about a 7 minute walk. It's also pretty close to the Kensington Gardens if you'd like to go before or after the pub. When we arrived, it was super crowded. Folks were drinking outside the pub because all tables were taken inside. It didn't take too long for us to order (got a Pimm's Lemonade and a pint of Guinness), and thankfully a table right next to the door opened up after we received our drinks. The Pimm's Lemonade was meh, but the Guinness was great (could def taste the difference between the tap and a can). Next time, I would love to return to try the Thai restaurant in the back!

This has got to be the most beautiful exterior of a pub I have ever seen. It is worth it for you to at least walk by, take a picture, and maybe pop in for a beer of a bite. I knew I had wanted to visit this pub since I saw pictures online ages ago. As I approached and say the gorgeous plants, flags, and signage ... I was not disappointed. The interior is spacious, but it was busy when we visited. There is no host/hostess, so, be prepared that it is on you to procure a table. The staff was nice enough, not overly friendly, but it's a pub, and I didn't necessarily expect 5-star service. There are plenty of drink options (mostly beer). The decor is chaotic and cluttered, but it works, and creates a fun environment. I wish I had time to try some of their Thai food. It smelled amazing as it passed by our table. Some tips: This pub is near the Nottinghill area. So, if you get a chance, check out the colorful buildings and the neat Portobello Market. If it's busy and packed, split up to search for seating. Odds are people all just having a pint or two and will be in and out shortly. The Thai menu looks amazing, but don't come in expecting typical English pub food. Also, the men's restroom had the most pungent urine smell that you could actually smell it harts away in the pub area. So, you might have to hold your breath as you go in. All in all, it was a fun time, and I would definitely go back! Cheers!!
